ASUS Laptop

I had been looking for the virtual camera to take a photo and couldnt find it but saw that there were loads of people with the same problem - there is an icon and an application called asus virtual camera on my computer and when I click it nothing happens and this is what people were trying to fix. I turns out the the virtual camera application is used by ASUS Lifeframe and thats how your access it. In the settings for the ASUS Lifeframe there is a setting where you can chose the default camera application to use - the only other option there is a default webcam but I did not change the setting.

The next issue is where to locate the photos. They don't go to your My Pictures folder. You will find them in your documents folder at:
Documents\ASUS\LifeFrame\Image
However when you take a photo in the Lifeframe application do a right click on the thumbnail of the photo you took, and you get a popup menu with various options including move, which you can use the move the photo to your desktop or My Photos folder, and other options include delete, email etc.
I like the ASUS Laptop it gets great reviews on AMAZON I have it for over six months now but it seems Im only just scratching the surface of what it can do.
